Christmas in the Philippines | Manila Bound

Ohh Manila..... Last December 22, 2017, my family and I went to the Philippines to spend our Christmas vacation with our relatives. It's been 15 years since we last celebrated Christmas there so my parents really insisted on making it happen this time. I didn't vlog and blog about the Christmas celebration itself because I guess, I just wanted to keep it personal. We did have a few days exploring the city and that's what I've decided to share with you! Keep scrolling and/or watch my Manila vlog to see more of our escapade. *muah*

Before heading to Pasig, our hometown, we spent a day and a half at our condominium at Pasay near the Mall Of Asia (MOA). We went on a little shopping and met up with one of my friends. We never really got to walk around much at MOA ever since it opened, at least this time we got to explore it a bit more. Malls in the Philippines are crazy huge and this one is the largest so far; and for people who don't live there, it just means more stuff to try and see! Afterwards, we had Noche Buena back at my hometown on the 24th of December. On the 25th, we went to another mall up at Bonfacio Global Center (BGC) called SM Aura.

There was nothing much to see and we didn't really have that much time. So for our family Christmas outing we ended up chilling at Starbucks (as usual) and take long shopping hours at Forever 21. Typical for my family, I should say. On the 26th until the 28th of December was the time we were at Palawan. Click the links down below to see my blogposts about the beautiful El Nido and Puerto Princesa. For our last day we visited The Venice Grand Canal at McKinley Hill. None of us has ever been there before we so wanted to try before leaving. It was a nice place, quite similar to The Venetian Hotel here in Macau (which I see everyday coz I work there *sigh*). It did have more eateries though and the weather that day was just perfect.

The only complaint I have in all the places we've been to at Manila, is that everywhere was too crowded! It was difficult to vlog/blog and look around freely. But I guess we did go during Christmas time so having a lot of people walking around was inevitable. All-in-all, I think I had fun during our whole trip to the Philippines! Well that's it for me today... I'll be going back to regular blogposts on the next. Ciao!
