Back at it again with another travel guide here on #KateeOTD. For the past few weeks I've been non-stop editing with the Cebu Vlogs (click
here to watch one of them), and so I finally took a break and decided to write this just for you. 1st things 1st, it is NOT my 1st time in Cebu. However, the last time I went there was 7 years ago back in 2012, way before I started blogging. I was 18 years old at the time, yet I could hardly remember anything that we did (except for getting drunk with my sisters in a KTV, accidentally murdering a couple of starfishes, and quickly climbing up the boat because I saw a sea snake during our island hopping). Also, this time I did most of the itinerary so I could say that it still is like a 'beginner's' perspective. Besides, Cebu has changed so much in the past 7 years; a lot of the places we visited wasn't operating yet the last time I was there.
Well enough gibber gabbering, you came here for one reason and one reason only (maybe, I'm not really sure but I'm assuming). You're here to get a 101 on what to do when you're in Cebu. To make it easier and more informative, I took the liberty of separating it in 2 segments:
1. Knowing the basics
Oh and don't worry, I'm linking everything that helped me form our whole trip. From tour agencies, to main websites and guidelines. And since I'm such a nice person, you can even view/download our whole itinerary
here. Hope it helps! Now let's begin with this Cebu Beginner Guide!
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I'VE EVER BEEN TO! I've been seeing so much photos and vlogs about The Dessert Museum since they opened in February 10, 2018. I'm a sucker for both sweet treats and instagrammable places, so you could imagine my eagerness to make it there one day. And I did. We had a day to spare last April 25th when I went to the Philippines with my mom and sister; immediately, I asked them if they would be fine visiting this cute museum. I mean, who could resist? There were 8 sweet fun-filled rooms in total and 6 of them offered treats (payment for treats are already included in the entrance fee). They often have promotional offers and discounts; we didn't book in advance so we took the "walk-in" rate for PHP 699/person. It's actually quite cheap in my opinion.
Obviously I vlogged the whole thing so keep scrolling to watch and enjoy some more of our photos!
Lately I've felt my blogging career growing. Not drastically, but a little bit more progress than most so far. And because of that constant growth, I am starting to love blogging even more! I've mentioned a few times ago that one of my favorite parts of being a blogger is meeting new people who also shares the same passion as I do, despite the different niches. Last April 25, 2018, me and my sister went to the Philippines to take care of some wedding issues. Though, we had one day to spare in which we decided to meet up with a Philippine-based blogger: Myrrazen. She is such a humble and sweet girl, one who genuinely smiles at all times! I loved meeting her, from the moment I saw her face-to-face waiting for us in front of Cotton On, followed by our "this is the 1st time I've met you but you're already my sister" hug!

Ohh Manila..... Last December 22, 2017, my family and I went to the Philippines to spend our Christmas vacation with our relatives. It's been 15 years since we last celebrated Christmas there so my parents really insisted on making it happen this time. I didn't vlog and blog about the Christmas celebration itself because I guess, I just wanted to keep it personal. We did have a few days exploring the city and that's what I've decided to share with you! Keep scrolling and/or watch my Manila vlog to see more of our escapade. *muah*
The last part of the whole Palawan getaway is finally here. We left El Nido early in the morning and had a 6 hour drive back to Puerto Princesa. Our itinerary for the last day was a city tour around Puerto Princesa and we arrived at our 1st destination around half past 12 in the afternoon. Our flight back to Manila was in a few hours so we had to make every minute count! Our scheduling was kinda cramped but we didn't let it get to us. We tried doing as much of the tour as we could. Keep scrolling to read more of what we did and where we went during the city tour. Also, show some love on my Palawan vlogs! Love yah!
