Retro Bling - NYE Look

OMG! Haven't done an outfit post in a while! I'm back guys! Back with them winter looks because it's still pretty cold here in Macau. What better way to start off the year with a sassy retro look that of course, has a bit of shimmer accent. This was my outfit for 2017's countdown and I think it represents how I would want my 2018 to look. Bright, psychedelic, with a bit of fierce. I've set so much goals for both the blog and my personal life this year, and I'm going to strive achieving them one by one! Talk about some serious New Year's resolution!

I'll explain a bit more about my outfit: My bright sun-yellow tassel earrings are from a thrift shop we passed by while at the Venice Grand Canal mall in the Philippines. I already have red ones and thought of going for a more vibrant color. It really matches my yellow tinted sunnies from Stradivarius, they are my fave combo pieces so far! Surprisingly, my coat, sweater, and skirt are all from Forever 21. I've already had both the skirt and coat for a few years, the only new piece was my buy 1 get 1 freebie sweater which I got from SM Aura. It's quite funny since it was actually my sister who went shopping; she was the "buy 1" and I was her "get 1", so technically I got a few new free items thanks to her. Haha!

I didn't want to have zero sparkles for the New Year, so I incorporated this whole look based on my sequined skirt. It was the only sparkly piece I had at the moment so I kinda had to match it with everything else for it to work. Lastly, I've had my boots for a month now but only got to use them for the blog this time. I was always insecure with wearing these type of boots because of my short and stubby legs. Buying them was actually out of my comfort zone, and in the end I really love them. Not to mention, they are comfy AF. Hope you liked my NYE bling, I only had time posting it today.
