Ho Ho Ho... Wait... what? Too early for that but as of now HAPPY HALLOWEEN WITCHES! Just like every year, I don't really do anything on Halloween but put on makeup, take pictures, and wonder why I can't have fun like everyone else I watch and see in YouTube and Instagram. But that's what happens when you're stuck in a small region like Macau, not to mention how everything is mostly in Chinese. We don't have trick or treating, last time we had a house party was years ago, and all we ever really have are clubs. Oh well.... "I'm not crazy. My reality is just different from yours."
We ended our trip to Koh Samui in the best way possible! Our tour guide picked us up at around 08:45 a.m., and from there onwards we were already riding a 4x4 (keep scrolling to see what it looks like!). Our 1st stop was the Big Buddha where I was asked to wear a kimono because my attire was inappropriate. I really liked how the kimono looked on me so I ended up buying the exact same one for myself! We then headed to one of the naughtiest attractions ever: Hin Ta and Hin Yai (Grandfather and Grandmother rock). It was interesting to see natural rock formation in those shapes... haha! Up next is to Namuang Waterfall and Safari Park, and boy, we did so much fun activities!
It started with the Elephant show where 4-5 really talented baby elephants did things like dance, hula hoop, play soccer, battle in tug-of-war, paint, give massages, and steal bunches of bananas from the audience. Yes, ours got stolen too! The monkey show afterwards wasn't so great and only had one baby monkey. The crocodile show, however, was the most thrilling one I've watched! I am a bit terrified with crocs and gators to begin with!
Will always and forever be an island girl... even if I live in a city, my heart always stays with the ocean. And this time I left my heart at beautiful Koh Samui. On the way to Koh Samui, we were approached by a woman who was working with a travel agency (I presume). To be honest, all we did was book a hotel and decided to stay in Samui for about 4 days without any plan at all, luckily this woman approached us and offered some tours that ended up to be the best thing we did! Our 1st tour was a trip to Angthong National Marine Park and other neighboring islands around Samui.
'Koh Samui will always have a place in my heart'. Like I've mentioned quite a lot before, it's not my 1st time to go Thailand. It is, however, my 1st time to go Koh Samui and it's so much more different than the other places I've went to before. I'll get to that in a minute. I just want to say that I'm so happy to finally get to write this! I've been so busy since we got back that I didn't have time to edit pictures or write blog posts, but here I am now! Expect to have a blog post and a vlog for every single day of our trip. My 1st 2 vlogs are now up on my YouTube Channel:
Is it just me or is 2017 going by so fast compared to other years? I feel like I haven't done anything yet this year, but in the same time, I DID do a lot! We'll get into what those are in a bit. This 2017 I traveled even more than I used to, I experienced earning more of my own money and saving it for future plans, and I even went through days of being bankrupt every once in a while. I worked in operations, now currently working in administrative. I quitted one marketing job and joined another. Basically, 2017 was the pinnacle of me starting off as an actual adult. Am I ready for this? Do I even wanna be in this stage of life? This #TOTD was mainly inspired by one incident that happened to me just a few nights ago. After caching up, laughing, and eating too much Koren food one night with my boyfriend, my best friend, and his girlfriend (who also happens to be one of my closest friends ever), we decided to not call it a day just yet. Not seeing each other for so long, we wanted to extend our meet-up with a few beers at the beach. It was late at night but my best friend had a car anyways, so it was kind of an easy commute. Everything was going fine until.....
"Reach for the stars" as what Buzz Lightyear would say! Wait! Does he even....? Oh well...Wanna know a fun fact about me? I used to not like Star Wars... at all! Growing up, I'd see it being played on TV but I just never understood what was so good about it. Maybe I was too young? Or maybe I was too narrow-minded at the time and did not appreciate "sci-fi" as it is? I don't really know! Then just a few months before 'Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens', Adrian kinda forced me into watching the previous movies so that I could understand the new one when it comes out. Not really wanting to, I still did it! Out of love? Haha!
Definitely feeling a tad bit playful in this knot-ty romper I got from Pull and Bear (forgive the puns, that's the best I could do...). I love myself a good romper, the feeling goes the same with one pieces and dresses. During the summer they're my go-to just because their easier and lighter to wear! The day we took these photos was one of those really sunny days with cool winds, so it wasn't much of a hassle bringing along my denim jacket. A few hours later though, it got really humid and I had to go "all arms out" again. Oh Macau weather...why are you so evil?
