I've always wanted to create colorful, fun, and crazy looks since I've learned how to draw and paint. For years, I've been constantly trying to find the best of the best face and body paints to help me do so. But in Macau, it's not far from impossible. Hi there! This blogpost was meant to just show you what I've been finding really fun to do lately. If you've been following me on Instagram (which I think you should because I post there a lot more often :3 --> @kateeotd), you probably noticed how invested I am lately with sfx looks, costumes, cosplaying, and just playing dress up in general. My love for makeup and art has grown immensely in the past year and I've just been on a roll! 

A big part of that was when I discovered FaceSlap! face & body paints. They are super easy to work with and have an array of all the colors you could possibly think of! I started with their 12 color face & body paint, and now I've added a few pearl finishes into my collection.

First thing’s first, OMG! I cannot express how freaking excited I am to finally share this wonderful collaboration shoot I’ve had with these gorgeous ladies! Me and Charmaine (@alacharms) have been friends for two years, ever since I started blogging. But DAAAAAMMMMNNN, this was the 1st time we actually met. It was my 1st time meeting her bestfriend Gershwin (@justgershwin) too! They are literally the sweetest and nicest ladies I have ever met! My sister (@styleche) is just meh! Hahahahhahaha kiddin!

"Leave a little sparkle wherever you go". The season is once again shifting. Cool winter breeze is finally toning down and making way for warmer days. In Macau's case, it gets more humid too. And that's the sign that SPRING IS HERE! I'm gonna be honest with you.... I hate spring season. In fact, it's my least fave compared to all 4 seasons. As mentioned, it gets really humid here leaving bodies to get sticky and oily which is really gross! It's also most likely to keep on raining, and knowing Macau's weather well enough, it will surely be unpredictable. Well that's enough about spring time, today I wanna talk about these lovely items I used for my spring fairy photoshoot! All from Bohome Macau. Keep scrolling! 

Boho is my jam. The weekends just went extra magical after receiving this package filled with love from Bohome Macau. I, personally, am a super big fan of bohemian things, from trinkets to dream catchers, tapestries with floral and pastel mandala prints, fairy lights and ornaments; basically anything the screams "boho"! Yes, I know, I'm kinda mainstream. But I don't mind it. I truly believe that deep down in me there's just a nymph that comes out every now and then (along with my inner mermaid, haha!). Because I need my dose of coffee every single day! For this Coffee Moments review, I'll be featuring one of the most hipster cafes found around Taipa Village: Rooftop Macau. It's a packed little coffee shop with a beautiful sitting area on their rooftop, hence the shop's name. Also, in collaboration with them, I've purchased a few cool items from Loving Macau because I'm a firm presenter of my home. It's finally December! The holiday season is here and in a few weeks I'm about to travel again. In anticipation, I had a chance to pamper myself with The Minute, Macau. It's that time of the year when colorful sweaters come to play! As I've been mentioning quite a lot here in #KateeOTD, Macau weather is very unstable. Lately it's been hot, cold, rainy, and sunny. I tend to just bring a scarf or a jacket every time I go out because you can never be too sure. Although, since it's already the end of November, I guess it just makes sense to start wearing sweaters again! This time I played dress-up with my sister, looking bright and vibrant in our pink and orange sweaters. 

We paired our tops with leather skirts and boots, just to look a little bit more in the season! Actually this whole collab was supposed to be for Halloween. We were kinda representing pumpkins and candies for trick or treat, but I didn't have time to upload this on time. Oh well... at least we still look great! I mean, both our sweaters are from H&M, and we love how eye-catching their colors are! To be honest, I'm really into striking orange and yellow shades these season, and I just felt like buying this big tangerine sweater was the right thing to do.

Reminiscing childhood days in the Philippines with every bite! A&A Sweets & Pastries is Macau's new gateway to sweet Filipino treats. From sweet coconut macaroons, soft and chewy 'espasols', to crunchy boat tarts! They even provide your all-time favorite polvorons and yemas in so much delicious varieties! Just looking at them makes me drooooool... craving for all of them mini-bites. Each package comes with the A&A label, mostly wrapped in colorful cellophane wrapper.

Everything they provide is homemade and has that authentic Philippine taste. They're perfect for light snacks or grab-and-go bites throughout the day. They could also be included as party favors or giveaways! I mean who wouldn't love receiving little mouth-watering treats, am I right? I'm a big sucker for nibbles, and I enjoy Filipino 'kakanins' and other sweet treats every once in a while. Being in Macau we don't really get to have those often. Usually only from relatives or friends who brings them back as 'pasalubong'. So having a place to finally get them easily is really a big help! The reveal: I'm off to Philippines tomorrow! Expect a lot of Instagram and blog posts in the coming weeks! If you don't already know, Philippines has a very tropical climate, and I mean, 'non-stop sweating' kind of climate. It's also a bit humid but not as bad as Macau so I already know what I'll be dealing with for a week.

I was born and raised here; Macau has always been my one true home! It used to be a very small and quiet region until it developed into one of Asia's most traveled destinations. One good thing about that is that it made Macau more exposed to international trends! Live and Love Macau  is one of those companies that cater to international entertainment while boosting the image of Macau's culture.

Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Year of the Monkey! It's the 2nd day of the new year (Yes! Chinese spend their New Years for a week or so) and most of my fellow young citizens are excited to collect their "lai si"/red pockets. Also, to those who just got married, sucks to be you! (Yepp, I'm talking about you @styleche ) Coz from now on, you should be giving rather than receiving!
