As part of my on-going 2018 National Days Challenge on Instagram, I thought of wearing my fiery red joggers to commemorate "National Wear Red Day" > See more days of my challenge on my IG: @kateeotd (#kotdnationalday). What actually is wear red day? Tbh, I didn't know until I searched just a few minutes ago from writing this post. Apparently, this day is when people wear red (obviously) to show support for the awareness of heart disease, celebrated mainly in the US. I personally don't know anyone from my immediate family, friends, and relatives who has heart disease, but I don't mind still showing support to people who goes through it. Going through something as heavy as heart disease, or any disease for that matter, will really make a person struggle and I just want to share my prayers to them. What a world it would be if there was a fast and effective cure for everything.
Because I get coffee in style. Have you seen my newest Coffee Moments review? Click here to read about it: WONDERWALL | COFFEE MOMENTS. This was my outfit when I visited Wonderwall a few weeks back. It was 10 degrees out and obviously I wasn't wearing enough. My socks definitely won't protect my feet from the cold, and yet, I still acted like I gave no f*cks. Style over comfort is starting to be my fashion motto. I mean, I have no regrets at all with my outfit because it looks bomb (at least for me). I wasn't actually going to blog my look anymore since it was already 05:00 p.m. that day, and it was pretty dark. To be honest, I have no idea how we managed to get great photos at all. I think my photographer can do magic *wink*
"And after all you're my wonderwall" - Oasis. Hey guys! How's it going? If you must know, one of my resolutions for 2018 is to lessen my coffee intake. Normally, I drink around 4 cups of coffee a day. I've been doing so since I was in my senior year in highschool. It ain't doing good things to my body anymore so I cut it off to once every 2 days. Still not used to it, I feel so groggy most of the day but it's for my own good! So for this week's dose of covfefe, I'm reviewing one of my go-to coffee shops here in Macau: Wonderwall Coffee. Keep scrolling to see my thoughts, not only with their coffee but also with the cafe itself. *cheers*
Okay, so I just now realized that I had so much pending looks from 2017. Too much that they make up at least 3 months worth of blogposts. Hurray for me? I don't want to backlog my new 2018 outfits either, so I guess I'm just gonna slip in a few here and there. As for my #throwback2017 looks, here's the 1st one. When I felt like a sassy orange ready to take over the world. It was around early December when the temperature just dropped to 12 degrees. It was so damn cold but I really liked my outfit as it is so I refused to wear warmer clothes. Fashion over comfort?
OMG! Haven't done an outfit post in a while! I'm back guys! Back with them winter looks because it's still pretty cold here in Macau. What better way to start off the year with a sassy retro look that of course, has a bit of shimmer accent. This was my outfit for 2017's countdown and I think it represents how I would want my 2018 to look. Bright, psychedelic, with a bit of fierce. I've set so much goals for both the blog and my personal life this year, and I'm going to strive achieving them one by one! Talk about some serious New Year's resolution!
Ohh Manila..... Last December 22, 2017, my family and I went to the Philippines to spend our Christmas vacation with our relatives. It's been 15 years since we last celebrated Christmas there so my parents really insisted on making it happen this time. I didn't vlog and blog about the Christmas celebration itself because I guess, I just wanted to keep it personal. We did have a few days exploring the city and that's what I've decided to share with you! Keep scrolling and/or watch my Manila vlog to see more of our escapade. *muah*
The last part of the whole Palawan getaway is finally here. We left El Nido early in the morning and had a 6 hour drive back to Puerto Princesa. Our itinerary for the last day was a city tour around Puerto Princesa and we arrived at our 1st destination around half past 12 in the afternoon. Our flight back to Manila was in a few hours so we had to make every minute count! Our scheduling was kinda cramped but we didn't let it get to us. We tried doing as much of the tour as we could. Keep scrolling to read more of what we did and where we went during the city tour. Also, show some love on my Palawan vlogs! Love yah!
"See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me...". My favorite part of our Palawan trip is finally here on the blog! Being one with the ocean always feels like it's my true calling in life. If you've been here a while, you'd know that most of my travel vlogs/blog posts are mostly at the beach. I've already swam at beaches in Boracay and Thailand, but none of them were as blue and clear as El Nido's. If ever you go to El Nido, you'd see that there are 4 different Island Hopping tours to choose from. We took 'Tour A' which was mostly made up of lagoons. Keep scrolling to see more of what we did and which islands/lagoons we ended up going to! Also, show some love on my vlog!
Happy 2018! Haven't posted in a while; haven't actually posted anything since the New Years. Well, I took a little break because I was feeling under the weather for quite some time. After we got back from the Philippines to be precise. But I'm all good now and I'm back with loads of vlogs and blog posts! Starting off with the highlight of our trip to the Philippines: Palawan! We booked a 3 days, 2 nights tour with JEJ Travel & Tours. They handled our entire itinerary (obviously), from flight tickets, to our sea view hotel, and all the other activities and tours that were included. Our island adventure started off at Puerto Princesa, the coastal city. Keep scrolling to see what fun stuff we did there while we were on that beautiful island, and/or watch my vlog! *muah*
