True Love At Neverland, Bangkok for a day! | Day 4

If you love dogs as much as I do and believe that every dog is an angel, then True Love @Neverland made me feel like I was in heaven! Definitely one of the highlights of our whole Thailand adventure! If you wanna see more cuddly and furry faces of adorable doggos then keep scrolling!

Bangkok was just a quick stopover for us, we were there for less than 24 hours. We woke up around 4:30 a.m. and checked out from The Jungle Club some time before 6:00 a.m. to catch the 07:30 ferry going to Dansok Pier. It wasn't sunny at all, in fact it was really cloudy and cold; felt like Koh Samui didn't want us to leave and the feeling was mutual. From Dansok we rode a big bus going to the airport in which we had to catch our flight at 11:25 a.m. going back to Don Mueang Airport, Bangkok.

When we arrived Bangkok, it was already around 01:30 p.m. and we nearly got fooled with the taxi rate going to our hotel. If ever you're in Bangkok, make sure to play it smart! We asked our hotel's reception how much would the rate approximately be from the airport and they told us that it was around THB150-250 as I remembered. When we got out of the airport we approached one taxi service counter in which they told us that it costs THB700 to get to our hotel.... like WTF?! I swear guys, be smarter travelers to avoid situations like these. Good thing we booked a room nearby the hotel, only around 20-30mins away located near Chatuchak.

Our hotel was okay, it's called Q Space Residence which I think was a comfortable place. It was bigger and had more amenities than Jungle Club, but it is the city so they kinda have to. We just had a quick rest and bought street roti, then headed over to True Love @Neverland. Good thing Adrian checked before going there, apparently they only had limited times for you to meet the dogs, we reached the 03:30 playtime session. I could not explain how happy I was that whole hour surrounded by so much doggies!!! Watch my vlog above to see more of their cuteness and why they are so lovable! In addition to meeting the dogs, their cold drinks and ice cream cake was really good! Perfect for Bangkok's unbearable heat.

We had a quick stop at Show DC to check out the Nike outlet, then to Central World to get some stuff from Sephora, then finally back to Chatuchak. Last time I went to Bangkok on a Friday so Chatuchak was a night market. But on regular days like this they close up pretty early and the night market is behind it called Jatujak. We walked up a bit, Adrian wanted to try so much street food as possible up to the point where he manned up and ate crickets... eww!

We had a long night just looking around, finding souvenirs to give back to our family and friends, then we ate at a local resto inside Jatujak where all the things we ate was good, but too damn spicy! We like spicy, but that was next level. Poor Adrian had a bad tummy ache the next day. We nearly missed our flight going back to Macau. We were so tired that we over slept! Fortunately I woke up just on time, yet we didn't get to take showers, eat breakfast, or even have coffee. It was a damn experience but then again, unforgettable! So that's the end of our Thailand trip, going back to regular blogposts by next time!
