Phils 2017 | Day 2 - Sky Ranch Tagaytay

We woke up the next day kinda tipsy... or at least I was. My stomach was hurdling and I needed coffee and food fast! Adrian was dead though, if it wasn't for his cousin passing by, he would've probably never stood up from bed. When Brian's parents came home from church we had a quick lunch nearby at Giligan's located in District Dasmarinas. The food wasn't that good and the service was terrible, but, we did managed to get lemonades.

DAY 2:
I've been hearing stories from both Brian and Adrian on how good these lemonades were and how there was nowhere else like it. I thought they were just over reacting but shit.... that was the best lemonade I've ever had. Not to mention, the best hangover remedy there is! We got back home and got ready, geared up, and left Tagaytay. I've never been there which is weird because it's one of those places in Phils were everyone has probably even passed by. Sadly, I never did, so I didn't really know what to expect as we were in the car for about an hour and a half. We picked Dane up on the way and headed to the coolest Starbucks place I've ever seen. Enjoying both the view and my good cup of Caramel Macchiato, I wish I could've stayed longer. Unfortunately we got there a bit late and the sun sets early in Philippines so it got dark pretty fast.

Hopped in the car and drove the other way, heading straight to Sky Ranch. I've been to a lot of theme parks and Sky Ranch isn't really on top of my list. The place was obviously not well maintained and almost looks like a "perya" we used to have in our "barangay" (Haha! Look at me using Filipino on #KateeOTD!). However, it wasn't all bad... it was just one of those of experiences I'd probably never forget and I don't even know why! We played parlor games (well they did since I don't play), rode the ferris wheel, and the "Sea Viking". That viking ride wasn't even big as what I use to ride in Hong Kong Ocean Park, but it took 2 mins long and I'm not even exaggerating! It drained all our energy so we needed to get food ASAP.

Tagaytay is known to have the best "bulalo" and we ate at the best restaurant that serves it called Leslie's. Being the Filipino we are, we only ordered rice and bulalo because we knew we couldn't eat as much anymore. We got serenaded by the restaurants band too, their voices were amazing! From Tagaytay, we drove all the way back to (I think) Metro Manila to meet Calvin and Bianca. We were gonna go with them the next day so we had to meet them for the plan. At one point, we were driving in a very long road that seemed to have a blackout. The whole road had no street lights nor buildings or houses nearby, what made it scarier was the silent thunderstorms we saw from afar. And to make it even more like a horror movie, we nearly bumped into a cow that was in the middle of the road. I squealed as Brian stomped on the breaks. I'd never forget that crazy, horrific car ride.
