Meeting Myrra - Greenbelt Makati

Lately I've felt my blogging career growing. Not drastically, but a little bit more progress than most so far. And because of that constant growth, I am starting to love blogging even more! I've mentioned a few times ago that one of my favorite parts of being a blogger is meeting new people who also shares the same passion as I do, despite the different niches. Last April 25, 2018, me and my sister went to the Philippines to take care of some wedding issues. Though, we had one day to spare in which we decided to meet up with a Philippine-based blogger: Myrrazen. She is such a humble and sweet girl, one who genuinely smiles at all times! I loved meeting her, from the moment I saw her face-to-face waiting for us in front of Cotton On, followed by our "this is the 1st time I've met you but you're already my sister" hug!

We were staying at Makati for 3 days and one of the nearest malls around our area was Greenbelt; around 15 mins away from the hotel by cab, Grab or Uber. I told Myrra that she could meet with us there and maybe get to know each other while enjoying a cup of coffee. That is exactly what we did. We sat down in this dainty little French style cafe called "Cafe Breton". The best thing I've learned from Myrra was that she was also a coffee-drinker like me. Just another sign that proves we could totally be friends!

We chit-chatted for quite a while then headed outside to take photos, because, well.... we are all bloggers. She was a natural with the camera. My favorite shot was probably our "let's pretend we're talking and laughing" shot outside the cafe, although doing it for real. Sadly she needed to leave but our brief moment together was more than enough! I'm glad to finally meet her because she really inspires me! Meeting more and more passionate bloggers like Myrra is what helps me figure out my own weaknesses and learn how to overcome them.

  1. Aww, this made my day, Kate! As much as I enjoyed meeting you guys, it was also such an honor to be part of the fun you had during your quick break here in the Philippines! I don't know when we'll see each other again but I'm definitely excited for that! Hoping to go to Macau, too, so I could tour around with you two!! Keep on blogging, love! You inspire lots of people, including me! :)
