Spring Lookbook | Yellow Daisies

"SPRING: A beautiful reminder of how beautiful change can truly be" and icky-sticky humidity. Hahaha! All jokes aside, the 1st look of my "Yellow and Black Spring Lookbook" is finally here! I got so inspired with sunflowers this season that I decided to create this 3-part lookbook using 2 colors that don't really associate with spring. I don't know about you, but when spring comes to mind I automatically think of pastels, pinks, and green. What do you think? Yes, those are fake flowers. Don't judge. I mean I don't even know if they were supposed to be daisies but I still used it as a title anyway. I didn't have time to actually buy real sunflowers that day so I just used whatever I had at the moment. For my 1st look, I went for like a Little Miss Sunshine inspired with my new lace top dress, accessorized with gold hints. For a little bit more color, I paired the look with my blue MK handbag, as well as my pink tinted sunnies. Topped it off with my cute little top bun.

We had our photoshoot around Old Taipa Village on a sunny Thursday afternoon. It was a public holiday at the time so we were lucky enough to find a spot with less people passing by. It was also quite hot that day so just imagine how much I was sweating underneath that dress.. eeek! Well that's it for my 1st look, what do you think about it?
