Heart Freckles | Issa Valentine's Mood

Issa look, issa vibe, but most importantly, it's a Valentine's mood! Let me just go off and start with saying: Happy Valentine's Day dear reader! I won't really go into details about the love season since I've already talked about it in my previous blog post (Go read it here: ENTERING THE LOVE & LUCK MONTH (2019)). Basically, Valentine's Day is much more important to me because it's when Adrian and I celebrate our anniversary. This year marks our eighth year together which is a very long period in my life. All the way from my senior year in high school, up to four whole years in university, and three years into working a full-time job. I'm just happy that I've found the one, hopefully. Also, to those who are (happily or sadly) single, I'm not talking about my love-life to brag. I believe that love will come and all you have to do is wait.

I wanted to express (and look cute or wateva) with how much love I feel by recreating this adorable Heart Freckles look I saw from Nikita Dragun, via Gabriel Zamora's video "I TRIED FOLLOWING A NIKITA DRAGUN MAKEUP TUTORIAL....". It was just one of those looks that I had to do on myself. And since I took a 6-month hiatus from vlogging (will be coming back this June or July 2019), I thought of maybe just writing a blog post about this instead!

So that brings me as to why I wrote this. I typically don't blog about my makeup looks, but I feel like I really wanted to share this one and show all the cute photos we took of it. To accentuate the pink-realness of this look, I put on a recently bought lace-cropped hoodie from H&M, wore my pink beanie from Pull & Bear, and even put on pink anime contact lenses. If you look closely, they actually have white drawn-on sparkles like seen on anime characters. Just in case you're interested, here's a list of the stuff I used to create this look:

  • No Filter Foundation in Medium 85 - Colourpop Cosmetics
  • Shape Tape Concealer in Light Sand - Tarte Cosmetics
  • Dip Brow Pomade in Ebony - Anastasia Beverly Hills
  • Ready, Set, Brow! Brow Mascara - Benefit Cosmetics
  • Flush Creator Blush - Maybelline
  • Sun Bronze Bronzer - Rimmel London
  • Studio Fix Loose Powder - NYX Cosmetics
  • Single Shadows in Lucky You, Slim Fit, Centerfold, Fortune Cookie, and Facet - Colourpop Cosmetics
  • Foiled Pressed Pan Highlight in Halo - Give Me Glow Cosmetics
  • Aqua Liner in Baby Pink - Makeup Forever
  • Tattoo Black Liner - Tarteist
  • 12-Colour Face & Body Paint in Pink & White - FaceSlap! HK
  • Velvet Matte Lips in Tempting - Victoria's Secret Beauty

So there you have it! Not really sure if I'd start posting more makeup looks here. Let me know what you think! Should I start writing these kinds of blog posts, or should I just stick to doing makeup routines and looks within the YouTube realm? Welp. I guess that's it for me today! Not much to talk about, but I hope you enjoyed reading this and that maybe somehow I inspired you to recreate this look as well. Share the love peeps!
