Sea's Spring Resort | Natural Hot Springs | Batangas Bound

Oh how I've missed the blue seas of the Philippines. It's been months since I last went to the beach and I could say that it's just the remedy I needed. As I've mentioned quite a lot before, the beach is my happy place, so it was really a call for help from the past stressful weeks here in Macau. Close to the cities comes Batangas, a famous getaway place for those in Manila who don't wish to travel as far. Since we went at the peak of summer, finding a good and worth it hotel or villa to house six people for a night was nothing far from impossible. Luckily enough Sea's Spring Resort still had two rooms available and our Batangas bound was finally happening.

We passed by Tagaytay early in the morning and went straight to Batangas. It was 35 degrees and I was slowly melting. The ride from Cavite to Batangas wasn't as bad and it didn't take as long as I thought it would either. As mentioned above, we got two rooms both facing the ocean with total six beds (which didn't make sense because we were three couples) for only PHP9,000, approximately MOP700 for one. It was very cheap in my opinion, especially for a hotel that's beach front, has a sauna, natural hot springs, a billiards room, and a large swimming pool with water slides.

The beach wasn't exactly sandy shores, more like rocks and broken glass. The ocean was really soothing though, salty but beautiful. After the beach we hit the natural hot springs that smelled like "rotten eggs" and were around 38-41 degrees hot. I love how it relaxed all the tension from my body and helped me de-stress big time. The slides were really fun but what we didn't know was that the pool actually has salt water so we had painful eyes and noses from sliding.

All in all, it was a great vacay spot. They catered well for our last minute plans and I will always remember our fun moments at Sea's Spring Resort. If ever you're in Batangas, go check them out and enjoy natural salt water from every facility... literally. Bali blogs are coming up next to stay tuned!
