Macau Food Fest 2016

Happy Monday! I know I said I'd only post on Wednesdays but I guess a few more extra posts in a week wouldn't hurt nobody. Well then, let's begin shall we? Macau's 16th Food Festival started more than a week ago and I, for the first time ever, went on the first day! Well mainly because Live and Love Macau asked me to write about it ASAP (You can find my LLM article here: Macau Food Festival). Another reason was because of Adrian's cousin; he's been here as our tourist and we thought that he should experience one of our big time local events.
As soon as I got off work, I headed out to Sai Van Lake Square and met up with them. As usual, we 1st walked around to check out the whole place, learn where things are and see if there's anything new. I was so busy taking blog pictures that I got left behind until a few of my colleagues spotted me. After a few chitchats, I was getting kinda hungry. I mean, wouldn't you feel the same if you were surrounded by hundreds of food stalls? I knew we had to start making decisions on what to eat!

The 1st round of food we had consisted of chopped deep-fried squid, a burger and the best-seller grilled garlic lobster from Lakeport Cafe. It was so good that we went around to buy our 2nd round of food! We came across the stall of Cafe Little Tokyo and bought Taco Rice (it's seriously a taco with no taco and has a rice substitute.... Asian taco style?). Next, I couldn't contain myself from drooling when I saw chubby churros rolled in cinnamon sugar served with ooey gooey chocolate sauce. And as for the drink, we bought milk teas from Share Tea served in light bulbs (too bad I had no picture of it, only in my Instagram stories).

All in all, it was a good night! Food fest was always like that anyway! If you wanna know more about it, head over to my post on "Live and Love Macau: Macau Food Festival 2016". That's all for today, you can now continue to having a great Monday!
