A Colorful Life

Went on a much needed rewinding 2 weekends ago with the boyfriend-photographer at Hong Kong. Normally, we plan even one day trips in detail; but for this getaway, we really had nothing in mind!

As I've mentioned several times in the past month, I just started working full-time and both of us have been going through personal issues that made our relationship and even ourselves a bit rocky. I don't want to get much into detail; all I could say is that it just wasn't healthy anymore for either of us and getting away from everything even just for a day was really necessary!

Enough about that, let's talk about what we ended up doing in Hong Kong instead! We 1st went searching for the Sheung Wan branch of Elephant Grounds in Gough Street. After about 20mins walking around in the heat with empty stomachs, we finally found it but was disappointed that it was purely just a cafe. Luckily, Agnes B. Cafe by L.P.G. was just on the opposite side! Having a wonderful brunch, we then walked back near Lan Kwai Fong where we saw the prettiest ice cream shop in H.K. - Emack & Bolio's. Kinda cooled down a bit, we headed to Victoria Harbor by the Star Ferry and was then again disappointed because the Avenue of Stars was under renovation.

I admit, I was really disappointed and was thinking that our trip has reached its downfall but Adrian didn't let that happen :). He turned it all around by suggesting we walk around Tsim Sha Tsui where we saw 1881 Heritage and finally blogged my outfit! We went to H&M afterwards coz why not? Headed to Mong Kok and found a good Japanese restaurant then lastly went back Macau! It was a tiring day but I loved it so much that I even made a video (now in my YouTube Channel)! HAPPY 1st OF THE MONTH!
